Is this that crazy Bisimoto one or whatever? I remember hearing about it, and that it had like 800hp or something

Yeah it is. I don't know about the RWB but these seem more function > form. Plus I think they are styled better.

You know how I feel about RWB Porsches versus Porsche Porsches, so this 911 here gets me in all the right places. Right, Indian?

I just checked their website and found this Wagovan. 724 whp. I think I'd rather have this than either of the porsches on the site. Here's the site , you can click through the little circles on the bottom left of the picture to see other builds. There's some very neat stuff.

That thing sound f'ing amazing!!! It isn't like a 930 turbo which is garglely and deep. That sounds sonorous and beautiful, but you can still hear the turbos.

Did you really, actually, literally post a picture of the car not knowing what it was?

If you did, I have a .gif for you.

I know the car was a Bisimoto, but I just thought it sounded like a standard 930. Man o man was I wrong.

You know how I feel about RWB.

Knowing that, I'd take this "911" over just about any of Nakai's cars. ALMOST.

Most RWB are sexy, but I hate the bolts he puts in the fender flares. This is just clean and sexy.

Wheels are still way too big, but I like the look of the fit and finish far better than a RWB. I'm not the biggest RWB fan as it is, though.

Any reason why? I thought everyone loved RWBs. Then again I thought everyone liked the Subaru rumble. . . but I was so wrong about that.

Completly built from the ground up with his own ingenuity; from engine/drivetrain components, to the aero packages (wing and such)! If you haven't already, and if you have an instagram account, you should follow him @bisimoto he replies back to all commentors/fans, thanks everyone individually, and provides a ton of automotive advice. He seems like an all around genuine guy, & I'd say that he's one of the best, also humble, tuners/developers out there. You should check out his 500 hp (iirc) hyundai elantra (iirc) that he created by developing new parts. He goes by the philosophy of "reliable power, guaranteed"

Appreciated. For my personal taste, however, I like the almost unfinished look which RWB is famous for. His/their (now) cars speak to what I want in a Porsche - the Drivers Car. That is, nothing unwarranted, no excess... even if there is excess, it looks purposeful. To me, it feels like Nakai can see beyond the bullshit and cut through to the very essence of what a Porsche should be and that's a road munching, road holding, rip snorting, drivers car. I know that what RWB does isn't for everyone, but I like it a lot. Win the lottery? Yeah, there'd be at least one RWB in my collection.

It's all just so heavy handed, design-wise. I'm a devout member of the less-is-more club. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate outlandish, avant-garde design, but there's a way to do that cleanly and elegantly; I just don't like the deliberate slab-sidedness and contrived built-in-a-shed appeal, because I don't buy it.

At the end of the day, they seem much more a fashion statement than they do a design or performance statement, and that's something that I don't align with on a molecular level.

The antithesis, in my mind, to the RWB is the Singer, which I (unsurprisingly) enjoy much more.
